Timmer Wood Masters is the first reality show in Bulgaria for professional woodworkers. The competition started in 2020 and was hosted entirely online. The best craftsmen competed with each other in creating unique products following the latest trends. This event provided exciting opportunities to promote carpentry in Bulgaria and to present the craftsmen skills to the public.

In 2022, the event returned with a new theme “Master Classes” and a mission to impart knowledge to amateur woodworkers how to complete various projects step by step. The format consists of short video lessons led by the proven winner of Timmer Wood Masters’21 – Ivaylo Borisov, and a challenge to three wood masters to show their talent and craftsmanship in three unique master classes.

The first reality show for woodworkers in Bulgaria was held entirely online for the second consecutive year. The theme of this year’s event was “Back in the game” – bringing new life to old furniture. Six professional woodworkers participated in the competition to breathe new life into old furniture (the current Reuse and Recycle trend).

After the end of the competition, the renovated furniture has been offered for sale and raised a certain amount in donation to support the National School of Applied Arts “Trevnenska Shkola” – Town of Tryavna.

2020 marked the start of Bulgaria’s first reality show for woodworkers hosted entirely online. The theme of the event was “To make something out of nothing”. Four professional woodworkers, using their skills and inspiration, have created four unique products, each having its own charm and originality.
