Starting in June 2025, the new donation program “Colorful Huts and Shelters” has been launched to support hut keepers and shelter managers in the Bulgarian mountains. The initiative is part of the “Hut of the Year” campaign, organized by 360mag.bg and the Bulgarian Tourist Union, and is implemented with the active participation of Orgachim.

The program provides free interior and exterior paints, varnishes, and coatings for metal and wood to renovate tourist sites across the country. Applications are open until September 30, 2025, via a form available on the website: https://huts.360mag.bg/grantove/orgachim.

Every month, from June to October, the approved candidates will be announced, and the Orgachim team will contact them to finalize delivery details. The products will be provided free of charge and transported to the location specified by the respective lodge keeper.

“With this initiative, we want to give back a little of what the mountains provide to all of us. Huts are not just places to stay overnight – they are part of the cultural memory and the emotions of thousands of tourists. We are happy to contribute to their renewal,” shared the Orgachim team.

The program emphasizes not only material support but also the human stories behind each hut – the efforts of those who maintain them and the emotions of tourists who return to them time and again. In this regard, all renovated sites will be featured in a series of publications with personal stories and photos as part of the campaign.
